An Ohio native moved to West Virginia, Joey Adams combines both the rock n roll he grew up on with the Appalachian bluegrass he’s come to love. Through the use of his sharp storytelling abilities, Adams crafts the lyrics of his songs to talk about his own experiences as well as others. In 2021, his debut EP As Good As It Gets, he talks of rejection, love that has come and gone and a brief run in with the law. Later that same year, Adams released his second EP My Home, in it he talks about break ups, his want to go fishing, his love for an Appalachian woman as well as another girl who just didn’t like his boots. Adams continues to write relatable and intimate songs as he prepares to release his first full length album in 2023.
